These scarves are woven on vintage shuttle looms in our workshop at the foothills of the Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland. Our Hattersley looms, first developed in 1919, are tried and tested over decades, creating a rich weave and woven selvedge.
Part of our On the Road range, this scarf gives a nod to the urban rather than rural landscape. The ‘block-paving’ style of the Tweed Emphasize weave and the contrasting colour stripes reflect the textures and markings of metropolitan streets.
Following the success of our Rainbow Scarf fundraise, we are delighted to announce that 15% of all scarf sales taken on our website, will be donated to the Northern Ireland Hospice and Children’s Hospice.
